I'm no sure but I think if you repartition with the same settings you had before you can recover the data. I never tried this but I think it I read somewhere.

The real question here is why does Adobe require it be turned on for all documents if you view a document with js. Why can't I enable it only for the current document?

I don't think you need to use regsvr32 with the DLL. I think you need to modify the path statement to point to where the DLL's are copied.

I'm not sure (its been awhile since I've done this level of coding) maybe you need to flush the buffer. If you replace printf with fflush(); are the results the same?
