In the Advanced/Forwarding section of your Linksys router did you add the ports to the port triggering section where the apply button is?
BTW I use MSN to send files and recieve without a problem...

You need to find out which TCP or UDP ports MSN uses.
Then what ever port(s) you use port forward to your internal IP (Ex: 192.168.x.xxx port 2000 to 2005) :killcompu
