Generally changing the password would stop a normal hacking a site.
But it seems the admin interface (CMS) is the problem. Have you tried a FTP program to upload to your site?

Double check every connector you may have bumped. And did you clean the video card connectors with a pencil erasure? Seen those help.

You do not want a hub, a switch would be much faster and not relay everything, to everything connected to the switch.

NAT in a router is all I have used for years along with firewall program with XP and older OSs.
