If you go to google and type in the firewall name and "exploits" after it
Zonealarm=3,000
TInyPersonal=2,000
Sygate=1,000
Other than that, Sygate takes up less space and gives you much better...

Actually telnet is very useful for alot of things, such as just simply grabbing the headers off servers.
XP telnet is easier done through cmd
just go to start >> run >> cmd
type in telnet...
