Other than myself, does anybody use it?
I never hear or read about anyone using it.

That first link wasn't the wizard I was thinking of, I didn't realize until I looked further down the page. Now the site won't let me edit the post.
Do the ' ipconfig /all ' from the command...

It's been awhile since I've used Windows 98, but I remember having a similar thing happen.
Does the updates installer require you to reboot when its finished?

I have no idea where a couple of those commands came from.
September 4th, 2005, 06:23 PM

I wasn't quite sure what you meant but look at:
Wizard Driven Connection

The only 3rd party packages I've messed with are SynEdit & JVCL. I haven't really used...

I've been programming in pure Windows API for 15+ years and apparently I...

I was at my fathers house yesterday, his PC had what may be a bug.
My father has been a programmer since the late 70's, and no one is allowed to use his machine, but me (programmer since the late...

I read this post a few days ago. I was waiting for someone who knows more than myself to answer. But nobody has bitten. So here I go.

I stopped it.
Then I ran defrag(commandline) from a live CD(homemade Bart's PE). It finished in about 1.25 hours.
Still have no idea why it didn't work properly, to begin with.
I was afraid it...

I was forgetting to SetIcon().
I'm not picking on Delphi, I am just trying to ween myself off of it. When you want to set an icon in Delphi you can just click and pick.

I have gotten forgetful, or I've been hacking in UNIX to much.
I suppose it could be that I've been coding for about 27 straight hours.
I have written a specialized port scanner (It looks for a...

The analyzation map looked really scrappy. ...

Check your compilers \bin directory for gcc.exe, g++.exe, ect.
Are you sure it isn't your code( Object->Method when it should be Object.Method )?

If you haven't gone to far with it already, I would suggest not using Indy for this type of application. Anybody can...
