I have Norton system works 2000 and when I go to update it, it will half download the updates then stop. At first I thought that my firewall might be stopping the download but I disabled the firewall...

you forgot to mention that even tho' the data wasn't saved when someone goes back to that file it is as it was when the person turned the computer off

check that the email account...e.g hotmail... hasn't got a share with third party box...& if they do make sure that it isn't ticked
