Actually I don't understand why everybody suddenly wants to go wireless. The connection speed is much lower than cable, there are more holes in the wireless security protocols than in Swiss cheese...

The biggest problem with open software and so... Linux distributions is that there is still no real standard. And that's probably one of the main reasons why Linux still has a minor popularity...

You don't break the law by searching networks, but you do if you sniff the network, log in unauthorized, do damage, make it temporarly unavailable (Denial-of-Servic), etc...

just to mention: i'm programming a wep-cracker... it still needs a couple of hours to break it, but even with lower traffic, it should be able to break the 128bit wep within a day...

For windows xp: if u r just a user, is it possible to get administrator rights?
It's just to install ageofempires2 for a moment :) and i can't do that withuout admin rights...
