ok thanks neb, when u say the full path name, i presumed you was after the location of the file, from the search i presumed in was in the root folder of c:windows, i tried to get into that folder but...

everytime i start windows something called script.exe is running in the background, i have seen it try to connect to 2 different ip addys and have blocked it.
the 2 addys are 202.99.166.61:6667 ...

ok thanks for replying, i done netstat -a and netstat -n with and without ZA running and noticed nothing unusual, i aslo checked for any listening connections while i was disconnected and there was...

everytime i start my pc now, ZA is telling me that there is a network connection present and asks me permision if i want to allow it it access to the internet, i have been saying 'no' beacause it's...

there is a decent trojan remover by moosoft called the cleaner, it works pretty similar to norton in the way that you update the defenitions every couple of weeks, it won't look for viruses though so...

yes i do use outlook express to download my messages but i sometimes access them from the web to, i have noticed it happening even when i dont use outlook express as well though...maybe as xpaciscool...

yeah i tried it, everytime i tried to connect to the 1214 port to view all their files i just got a page not found error..

i thought netsphere was a powerfull scanner that told the user about specific vunrablaties on a remote system,and it's only available for linux? or am i getting mixed up?
