Is the monitor cable hard wired, if not, try another one.
Have you tried booting into safe mode?
Will it boot from the motherboard support CD?.............if so try repairing the BIOS from it....

Sounds like good advice to me. I had a very similar problem a while back when they guy tried to run a Duron at 133 instead of 100 :eek:
I just reset the BIOS and it worked fine. :)
