you actually don't save a LOT, but you can save about $200-300, that's what I've saved in past, part of it is not having to pay for windows if you don't want it.

on the subject of games: there are very few strategy games for linux. I guess that might make some people complain, not me. I play 50% rpg, 40% fps, 10% strategy.

I run XP on my primary gaming machine, I've never yet had a single crash....it's XP home, too! There's no problem with it. Go with XP or Win2k, like everybody else said.

yeah, a specified time of membership (like say, only 30 days, 90 is extreme) would limit people to one account/mo. Every new time, he'd have to wait another month, and get bored with it pretty quick.
