Alright, nihil and CTO hit it on the head. I was looking at the wrong misc options. I have the full wysiwyg interface now, and I have the option to disable smilies.

Nihil,
I looked in my 'User CP', under advanced options, and I didn't see anything about editing mode. I only had two options there: 'Event Reminders' and 'Attachments'. Perhaps I am looking in...

Heh. I just did the 'Post Reply', and I still have no options to disable smilies. ??

So far, it seems as though the Mods have it, but not the rest of us. Just a thought.
And to answer Nihil's question, the smilies are set to on. :D
