What's the difference between the gestapo tapping your phone or installing a keylogger? They probably needed to get a warrent before doing it, so I bet they had probable cause... I'm not defending...

Not to change the subject, but I heard something about a hacker group in the US that's looking for any trace of osama bin laden... anyone hear about this or am I talking out of my ass?

ArmyOfOne: Georgia Tech has one of the best CS programs in the US, I would say almost any school with a Tech in the back of their name may be good. Also, any big name university I'm sure has some...

I got the linux edition of that book... its not the best book out there, but its definately not the worst. Worth the buy if you have nothing else to read

Since software is easier to update/patch up I would say going with software is to your advantage.

I agree with sargx about taking C over C++ especially since it seems you're learning a language to incorperate with linux. Once you learn C... every other language after that is very similar just...
