netstat -a is another command that lists all current web conections, with port numbers and ip addresses.

Sounds like a virus which has been "bound" to an exe, and had the icon changed.. this is standard hacking practice for newbie hackers... I would check and see what applications are running and see if...

My mate had a row with his dad the other day, and now keeps geting booted from the win mx file share prog. How can he prevent this... and dont say by not pissing people off, as that's what I told him...
