run a virus scan and see what that drags up. maybe run spybot S&D as well.

Networker: does XP allow you to use QoS?
I know OpenBSD using PF supports QoS as well as VPN :p
you could put obsd on a crappy box and have it act as the router/firewall.

You can split the channels for voice and data, but you would need a multiplexer (essentially a multi-port CSU). And your circuit needs to be setup and delievered a certain way for you to do that. ...

Depending on your infrastructure, you might have to enable IGMP. I doubt it, but i've had to do it in the past on some Cisco switches to get ghosting over the network to work successfully.

Well the wireless cards are internal to the laptops, so what I've done is disabled the TrueMobile card and put in an Orinoco 802.11a/b combo card. It seems to work fine without the Odyssey client...
