I tried that
but the "recover deleted items " pane is all empty.
The archive folder does not have those mails.

The op system I am using is Windows 2k, I havent done any defrag.
Well someone was tell me there is some way to do this by fiddling with the registry keys.
Can some one come up with any tricks ?

Well I am sorry for the typo error its called win32\Deborm.Q virus , and yes the message was a Netsend messenger , but the sender was with the same name as that of my comp.

I have an anit -virus programme up and running "InoculateIT", it didnt detect anything.
Besides my comp is behind a corporate firewall, I think even that should help keep away viruses.

See what I did was this, ran the repair utility, that makes a backup of the SAM file as SAM._ rite ?? Otherwise SAM is not accessible rite ???
