That's the thing ... the sound card on my mobo just gives me sound from 2 speakers normally. In winamp, it works through all 5, thanks to the plugin.

Well, I really don't need to convert all my mp3s to 5.1. I'd be happy if all 5 speakers were utilised by all the applications instead of just 2, so that it'll sound like the sound is coming from all...
