Linux and OS X users have less of a problem with spyware issues than windows. I can't say that they dont have the problem at all, but in my personal experience, they tend to have less problems.

Has anybody tried CWShredder ??? I have had this problem before, and when i used CWShredder it did solve the problem. (looking at what you posted as your hosts file, i had the 'i get net' thing...

i've coded in both VB, java and C++, i will agree that VB is much more user friendly, and easier to create a GUI for.....C++ does seem to have more programming 'power', java is also a great...
