I think lilo will do the job... if it doesn't then u can always use the bootmanager GRUB (it comes with RH 7.3)

i think ur right.. I've seen a lot of interesting cell phone hacks the last couple of years and yes I guess that's the modern way of phreaking.. I haven't however been paying that much...

phreaking has become normal hacking today... everything is digital today and thus a computer is needed to hack it...
