good evening ,
i have a linux printer server on a windows lan.is there any way to come up with a password prompt everytime i want to print a document from a windows client?i use fedora core4.only...

well as soon as there isnt an obvious solution, i can provide u with one .
if u install win98 on the printer server, then u will come up with a pass everytime you want to print from a client....

are you sure man?i have never heard o f something like that before.linux is a whole operating system just like windows.you can't have windows on a floppy!maybe it was lilo or linux start up disk.
