I don't think switching to a different web broswer is the answer. Been smarter and being careful is the best solution. I once got hit by these pesy spyware and adaware programs but I have learned...

Looks like a variant of the Startpage A Trojan. It should have reset your start page/ home page in IE.
I would recommend Trend Micro AntiVirus.

What I did was setup a second account. I used the second account so companies can send an e-mail to it and I can then activate product. I never check it for e-mails. Just let the e-mail company...

Article is probably out of date a little. The new standard of Wireless security is WPA. I ustilize this on my home network. Just had to activate at a cost of downloading the new firmware.
