Only problem i have with c is i'm 16 and don't really want to spend a couple hundred $'s on books and such. And i never can find anything for c on the net.

Right now i'm learning Visual Basics which seems easy and is easy to find info mation for. Is this a good lang. to start with to get to other lang. such as c/c++

i have win 2000 pro and want to install IIS on it from the windows componets but everytime i try it won't install it because my win 2000 disk is damaged is there anyway to get around this so i don't...

I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me where to get a good usable shell account not one thats so limited it's worthless.
