this isn't anything to do with the topic but..... i see some of the people are using IE 6, is it any good because at the moment im running 5.5. i asked dad (my resident IT expert lol) and he said IE 6 won't let you use plugins, this true? microsoft taking their monopoly too far, like come on, gotta keep activex, java and flash, gotta make life interesting

hey...
No, IE6 allows you to use plugins...
There may be plugins that no longer function correctly due to a change in the IE code, but the companies that make the plugins would fix that as soon as it comes to their attention....

Greetings All:
I THINK i found the problem. The timeouts with the apache webserver, and with the mysql database, were different. The mysql database timed out faster, and when it did, apache just sent along an unformatted "blank white" page. I have now made both timeout variables the same, and I think life is good now.....
