I wouldn't worry. When I was activating my friends copy of XP I found out something... was news to me, might not be to others...
the product activation (in Australia @ least) is computerized.. you don't get to talk to a Microsoft rep.. I don't believe there was even an option to speak to one.....

hehe, wasn't my copy, so it really wouldn't be rubbing it in...
neway, he got it for free as well..... and I've yet to see why the product activation is meant to be such a painful process...
mebe someone could fill me in???
