    External modem!

    I just finished installing my first external modem for my PC and I have to say that I am EXREMELY impressed with the overall performance. I am going to pull out my winmodem to make room for another card or something. Peace.

    Depending on what type of Modem it is make sure it gets plenty of air. I know when my Actiontec DSL modem sits laterally it heats up beyond belief and interrupts service. Check the heat on it every once and awhile to make sure things are okay.
