how can i prevent being nuked?

How can i prevent someone from nuking me any ideas. i have a firewall also.. I know there has to be something else i can do?

If you mean nuking as in a crash, as opposed to just flooding you, you should make sure your DUN (Dial Up Networking) and Winsock (Windows Sockets) implementations are up-to-date. Go to www.windowsupdate.com and see if there are any security updates you might need.

i guess nuking isn't much of a problem anymore. Windows updates have fixed most of the security vulnerabilties that these used. You can always visit microsoft's download area (if using windows) and search for donwloads specific to your OS
