    Question redundancy?

I'm not as swooft on updates, etc. as I need to be. I discovered an infected item on my pc and deleted it. I have a cable modem connection and am using win/98. I upgraded Mcafee, got a personal firewall, jammer, and lockdown, and adaware. I also use uptodate defense programs in VP.

How much of this is necessary? I've done online scans for trojans, bo, stealth, etc., and they all say I'm in excellent shape, but am I? Am I just wasting valuable space?

antivirus and firewall should be enough, unless you attract a lot of attention from experienced cr/h/ackers.

Speaking of those online tests that measure your computers security, does anyone have a link to one? I'd like to try one.
