    They have perfectly good reasons to block sites. If the company you work @ is a bank for example, you will find that in Holland some can only send e-mail internally and not to the outside world.
    That is done by a sysadmins through a stand alone machine.
    But then again Matty Cross is right, there is a lot of stuff out there that could bring a company network on it's knees especially if it runs on windows.
