    AMD K5 500mhz 128 meg ram running mandrake 8.0

    and

pII 400mhz 128 meg ram running 2k server

Hehbris, I've only seen you post once or twice, but anyone who makes up a second name to insult themself for having a small penis has some issues they need to address. Maybe you should take some time away from the computer, go outside or something, good luck to you.

i am humbled by my lack of hardware...but anyways...(insults and depreciations included)

P2 - 350 overclocked to 450 (pointless, for the most part)

10G HDD (stop it with those goddamn MP3's, foolish girlfriend!)

192MB RAM (took about 3 minutes to put the 128MB stick in myself, yet Best Buy charges 30 bucks to do it...WTF it that?!?!)

Integrated (of course) 3D video card (when they stop integrating those ****ing things, i'll be happy)

    not much, but it works

Ouroboros: Are you yummy? (This question is rooted in theo-mythical legend. Please do not take it personally. If anyone gets the joke without looking it up, kudos.)

I have... well, I do almost 100% of anything I do on...

    Dell System
    Pentium II 400mhz processor
    128mb ram
Geforce 2 GTS 32mb video (used to be an Nvidia Riva 128zx)
30 gig hard drive (used to use a 6 gig... was always trying to make more room.)
    CD-ROM drive/CD-R(w) burner
    Windows 98

I'm thinking of 'migrating' my vid card/HD/peripherals, and giving this old box to someone else to use. My futute planned system is along these lines:

A Case (To Be Determined but I've seen some nice ones)
    VIA KT266A Motherboard
    AMD Athlon 1500/1600 or somethin
    256mb ram (PC133, most likely)
-- And then migrate most of the stuff over.

Oh, and one other thing... I have a Microsoft 'Natural' Keyboard (one of the original ones, not the ones with the new icky mini arrow keys and stuff) And I love it. It had served me for many years. Several of the keys are lacking their labels, and that's not from shoddy workmanship.

And I use an old-school rubber-ball mouse! TAKE THAT, un-necessary optical frippery! When I see all those 1.2ghz 'budget' computers in ads, I feel so old (in the nostalgic way) with my 400mhz...
