How Do You Get To Priviledge exec mode
I need to know how to get to priviledge exec mode on a cisco router??? If anyone can give me the command for that, that would really help!

To enter privileged EXEC mode, use the enable EXEC command.
enable [level]
Syntax Description
level (Optional) Privileged level on which to log in.
(Note The enable command is associated with privilege level 0. If you configure AAA authorization for a privilege level greater
than 0, this command will not be included in the command set for that privilege level.)

Enable gets me to the prompt
Router# is this priviledge exec mode?
Enable EXEC doesnt do anything.

user mode is ROUTER>
(>) that is the sign that tells you you are in user
user mode does not allow you to make changes to running config/startup config or stuff like that but yes
prompt:
router#
is the privlegged modewhere you can make changes to the router
type ? to see list of commands
(add ip address set up acls's etc, lotsa fun stuff)
