    Hi guys, my first post

Anyways, does anyone know a way of getting admin rights to a Win2k System ? I heard that there was a small prog called BeAdmin, but does it work ? I havnt had a chance to test it yet.

Also, anyone know of any good Win2k security sites ?

    Cheers in advance guys

I'd recommend getting "Hacking Exposed : Windows 2000". That should help you greatly, as there is an entire chapter dedicated to priveldge escalation.

Try using IPC$. I mean, if know your Windows2k system, you should know it's an NT5. Which means you can do something like this, using nbtstat.

Displays protocol statistics and current TCP/IP connections using NBT (NetBIOS over TCP/IP).

    NBTSTAT
    [-a RemoteName] [-A IP address] [-c] [-n] [-r] [-R] [-s] [-S] [interval] ]

-a (adapter status) Lists the remote machine's name table given its name

-A (Adapter status) Lists the remote machine's name table given its IP address.

-c (cache) Lists the remote name cache including the IP addresses

-n (names) Lists local NetBIOS names.

-r (resolved) Lists names resolved by broadcast and via WINS

-R (Reload) Purges and reloads the remote cache name table

-S (Sessions) Lists sessions table with the destination IP addresses
-s (sessions) Lists sessions table converting destination IP
addresses to host names via the hosts file.
    RemoteName
    Remote host machine name.
IP address Dotted decimal representation of the IP address.
    interval
Redisplays selected statistics, pausing interval seconds
between each display. Press Ctrl+C to stop redisplaying statistics

    taken from Remote_Access_
    ...This Space For Rent.
