    if you someone can crack your pgp setup (asuming you look after your keys eg: secret on floppy) then a password protected zip file is a piece of cake.
    Trust pgp for stuff you want to keep private and password protected zip files for stuff that doesn't matter.

    If it is meant to be SECTRET, then it is not meant to be on any computer at all. Carry a zip drive with you. I carry my MP3 player with 64MB...and a USB chord ...set it to self destruct if it is stolen.

    You can use the acsii hidden charecters to name a file.You will not be able to see the file or dir with the "dir" command
