    telnet in Mandrake 6.5

Hi, I installed linux mandrake 6.5 on a 133MHz and was wondering how to enable the option to telnet into the box and use it as a remote shell. I have it configured for being on the network, i can ping it and everything, but when i telnet in it sits there and then kicks me off without sending me anything.

I'm not that familiar with mandrake specifically but you need to run telnetd.

I'm sure you could just search google with the question and you'd get nice neat step by step instructions.
