    Siemens Mobie SMS Exceptional Character Vulnerability

    Some Siemens produced mobile phones suffer from a vulnerability in their handling of SMS messages. If a maliciously formed SMS message contains certain unusual characters, the mobile phone will be unable to display or delete this message. If enough messages are sent, SMS functionality may be completely denied.

    This is why you shouldn't allow (as a programmer) characters outside the ascii norm.

    Like for standard english, 0-9, a-z, A-Z . ? ! are the usual for "normal" conversation. Yes, I'm already aware that there are many more forms of "communication" yet this is something they could've prevented. At least, however, it's not like MS and their "null" problem.
    We the willing, led by the unknowing, have been doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now qualified to do just about anything with almost nothing.
