    Question AOL Protocol??

    Does anybody know where i could get the aol protocol so i could drop the aol software and just use dial up networking through windows????

    What the hell are you talking about? AOL is just a PPP dial up connection. Go to any ISP and say "Hey, I want a dial up internet connection because AOL is ****!", and the will say " No kidding! We got what you need right here!"

    nice post VanEck.

    xpaciscool - it is possible you are confusing the aol adaptor for tcpip in your settings. the client install adds these to your computer but like VE said - it isn't really a protocol, though I can see how you may have thought it was.

    look for a program on the 'underground' that goes by the name dialer-b.

    I believe that is what you are looking for.
