    Hacking Linux Exposed

    Whats up hellions,

I don't know if anyone has seen this book, but i just got it and it is called "Hacking Linux Exposed" and i was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on this book. So far, to me it looks well worth reading, but is it really worth the $50.00? Just wondering

Yeah, I have the book too.... I use it mostly to secure my Linux box and it is doing a great job! Its extremely informative although dcript kiddies could use some of the info for less then ethical purposes But all that said I still think it was worth the 50$

I got the book and I believe it's a gold mine of information. However, if you are looking for a book that teaches you how to hack Linux, you got the wrong one.
This book gives good descriptions on how to implement security from IDS to a firewalls.
I would recomend it to anyone intersted in securing themselves, no matter the skill as it is well explained. Even a newbie could easily pick it up.

    Verdict: 8/10

    It worths the $50
