WordPad history

I am trying to find out where the history is stored for the recently opened files in WordPad. Is it built into WordPad or is it a log file?

This is off the top of my head. I've seen history lists in the following places:
ini files
log files
and registry entries.

Word stores it in the registry:
HKCU\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\word pad\recent file list

PS MS puts most of that type of info in the registry
