Well a notepad clone (metapad).. only because I can close the document with the <esc> key.. (saves me precious time)
together with Dreamweaver..
Although you can do it all with Dreamweaver I think that somekind of a notepad is still a MUST

They arent HTML editors but they can be used. Just cause they arent specific to HTMl doesnt mean they cant be classed as HTMl editors.

I'm still learning HTML and working on my first site. I've been using Notepad. I did download a freeware editor called First Page. It's a lot of bells and whistles. But I'm still using Notepad. I may eventually use First Page some because it has some preloaded Java scripts. But my site is on my ISP's server and they won't let you use scripts. If you want to get First Page here is the link: www.evrsoft.com

My favorite html editior would have to be.. notepad, dreamweaver & frontpage.
notepad= very easy to customise html, and scripts.
frontpage= nice use of tables, and dhtml.
dreamweaver= my favorite, for customizing my php scripts, and other various scripting.
my pages: (great resources for everyone)
geeksarecool.com resource for computers, hacking, virii, wutnot.
thepillbox.net archive of logs and resource for laughter.
--enjoy these pages, as they grow.
