go to any webpage you like...and click on view source...
from here you will get the basic ideas of html.
if you want more complex stuff like javascripting...then do the same thing, only find a page that has javascript

oh..do you mean to 'host' your own website??
at that you don't need a router or a switch, but what OS are you running?? I'm assuming windows or you wouldn't be asking this question, let's see,
I use Apache for my linux box...and...yes, there is a windows version of Apache.

OK, you should know download.com...I just typed in HTTPD, and this is what I got(in case you don't want to try Apache)

Im sorry guys , i wanna learn the stuff they dont teach in class. I have a server at home but its not a static IP right now so whats the point right? -- anyways and help will be appreciated

Well, you'll be able to find alot of help on AntiOnline, but you'll need to be a little more specific with your question. Do you want to learn how to set up routers? Do you want to know technically how they work? There is much to be learned, but anything and everything is a little vague - if you're a little more specific, we will be better able to help you.
