Lightbulb A good starting point for new OS programmers

I just stumbled across this link while surfing the net. Might be useful for those of you interested in OS programming. It's a barebones OS written by one of the guys on the BeOS team. It's being used as a base for OpenBeOS as well, so check it out. http://sourceforge.net/projects/newos/. Also check out OpenBeOS at http://sourceforge.net/projects/open-beos/.
    Cheers,

Edit: Just realised that those links are a bit out of date. To get the latest stuff click on the "home page" link on those pages.

LFS is a good starting point for building your own distribution of linux. However, to code an OS is a completely different thing. Yes, Linux does provide full source but that source might be a bit too complex to start off with, hence this post.
