    This is not related to security, sorry I just dont know where else to put it
    I was just wondering how do I put up an avatar that is animated?
    I have tried but I cant seem to find the link.
    I am not really a fan of my current an would like some help

    First of all, you'll need to have 45 posts so you can put up an avatar.
    An animated avatr is just a GIF animation, which there should be plenty of proggies for.

    After you find an avatar (.jpg or animated .gif) or create your own (Go to http://www.freewarehome.com ) through many freeware progys availible. Then when you log into AO after x-number of posts. Click on your avatar. Then it will take you to the page where you first selected your avatar. Scroll to the bottom of the page and it will give you the option to upload one. Just be sure you have the file size small enough. It will give you the details....

    Thank you I allrady knew the avatar was a gif I just didnt know why i couldnt place it
    so after 45 posts. I thank both of you.
