Maybe she'll right a song about it:
Baby baby how was I supposed to know
That something wasn't right
I clicked my mouse, now where'd my hard drive go?
This reinstall will take all night.
I must confess
This stupid virus
Is killing me nowwww
Don't you know I still believe
That you will be here
And fix my hard drive
Patch me baby one more time
Oh my god, where'd that come from? Maybe I should grow breasts and become a teen pop sensation too.

But still, isn't it really funny that people never learn? I've lost count on how many times my manager or whatever has gone out with mail to all employees - "Do not klick on attachments. Enable viewing of filetype extensions". And people just don't give a *****. They keep klicking away at everything that passes theirs screen.
There should be regulations against letting stupid people use computers..

What it's all about is a war of the wits. If you have a bunch of nit-wits working for you.....well, you know the rest. Maybe employers will administer some type of computer IQ test to weed out the idiots in the future...lmao.

Unfortunately, it's often the managers that are the dimwitted ones.
I remember the ILOVEYOU virus ... who opened it first AND twice ... our Vice President of Engineering .... talk about management ... totally clueless when it came to computers.

Here is what McAfee has to say about the first version of the ILOVEYOU virus:
http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=98617&
Basically, it used your Outlook address book to spread itself and then started making your files unusable by copying itself over them and adding the vbs extension.
