New Guy on Block
I am a contractor working for a government agency here at Ft. Hood, Texas. I also raise goats and guinea fowl on a little ranch near here to keep things in perspective.
My specific interest is in finding tools that can be used in our test environment to track the activities of the development engineers if they elect to work on the system software after the scheduled testing is completed. The problem is that we believe that people are making unauthorized changes to the systems, violating our configuration management procedures. The current solution is to remove the hard drives from the computers (removable hard drives are required by our contract) and lock them up each night, but this prevents us from doing any automated testing that could be run at night.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
