IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET SOMEONES IP ADDRESS ON AIM SO THAT THE VICTIM WONT KNOW IF U STOLE IT. SENDING LINKS, SEND FILE, SENDING BUDDY ICON, SENDING PICTURE, DIRECT CONNECT ETC.<------ THOSE ARE WAYS THEY WILL KNOW IF YOU GOT THERE IP ADDRESS...IM WONDERING IF YOU CAN STEAL THERE IP ADDRESS SO THEY HAVE [NO] KNOWLEDGE OF YOU STEALING THERE IP ADDRESS. THX.

Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

Mr. White you need to go elsewhere for your information. This is a security site.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Why do you want your friend's IP address? Don't you have your own? Selfish Selfish lad......Anyway...now for the technical stupidity of what you are probably trying to do, #1 even if you have his IP address, You probably don't have the technical know-how to use a compiler, or linux for that matter, so we can rule out anything but some strange beings excuse for a program (written in VB of course), which limits you to very few options (unless running windows XP which has raw sockets), and will probably end up installing some sort of backdoor on your machine anyway.....Sorry...had to rant for a moment.....but the simple way to get your friends IP address is to ask....especially if he is on AOL....hey...nevermind...if his parents put him on a lil' kiddy account he won't even have one....(Don't ask)....
