    microscopic firewall

    i found this while searching for firewalls. interesting article. it is supposed to be the worlds smallest firwall.

    Pretty Good Idea to me! The concept is not bad. No Software! Only Hardware.. Pretty much harder to hack that Software with the buffer overflow!

    Yeah, why not ? But I would say it is way way too fragile : is its microscopic mechanism really reliable ? I think they would break down too easily...

    There has been development in micro and nano-mechanics for a while. This is one of the first devices I've seen that uses it, hopefully we'll see some other good uses for this technology.

    Hmm, it'd be pretty annoying having to reset the thing every time you made a typo...
