    Question linux

    ok, for a while i've heard about linux. i'm currently running win98. i would like to get a version of linux that will run along with windows, because my mom and brother also use this computer and they are only familiar with windows. i've tried to find linux, but i only got redirected to a bunch of sites saying that i have to join a club or pay for it. where can i easily download and install it without being taken to site where i have to go through a bunch of directories, as well as find a simple tutorial on using and installing it? i am new to this and i'm only familiar with windows. i appreciate any help possible.

    Wow, I never even knew a thread like that existed.... Hehe, I wonder how long it takes all of those green boxes on Remote_Access_'s screen to load
