location of internet log files?
where is the log file for a dialup connection stored?
here is what i did:
- went to DialUp Networking folder
- right click on a connection and chose properties
- from the window selected the Server Types tab
- then i selected the "record a log file for this connection" option
i dont know the location or the name of the file that stores the number dialed. where can i find this log.
thank you for your time.

All I can say is Search in Start>Search> Files and Folders and search for Dialup Networking. It should be in there.

do a "find file" for *.log. sort them by date and open up the most likely one in notepad to see.
