Bios master password for a Dell Inspiron 7500
Im trying to find out if anyone know how to reset a bios Password for a dell inspiron 7500? Ive herd there not jumper setting in this particular dell that would reset it ive ben workng on this for about a month now I was wondering if anyone knew a solution to this, thanks.

pull the mobo battery out for a few seconds then reinsert, that should clear your bios pw.

You have to send it back to Dell. That's what I had to do with a CPi. It sucks and it costs money.
I looked around for about two weeks with no results.

open up the pc and pull the bat. out. Wait 10 min. and place it bacl in.

Actually its a laptop, I dont know where the baterry would be?

try here http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/systems/psyd/removing.htm it tells you how to dis-assemble that particular model. Hope it helps.

you have to unscrew the case so you can get to the battery. It is in there.

found Baterry
I found the baterry but the baterry is being helb by something that is soldered to the board if I was to pul on it the solder would come off how do I take it out with out breaking it?

very carefully. The piece holding the battery down is probably very thin metal, so it should "bend" out of the way. Just don't bend it to far, or you will end up breaking it.
