NmapNT can't find my network interface

Anyone experienced this before?

this is the error i get:

Example: nmap -v -sS -O www.my.com 192.168.0.0/16 '192.88-90.*.*'

So i type:

c:\nmapnt -e 0
adapter not found
QUITTING!

so what do i do know? I have a IBM laptop with built in Intel Pro 10/100 nic, its working fine otherwise I wouldnt be able to post to you guys. Do i need to reinstall device drivers for my card or am i missing another import file? do i need pcap? the packet capture file.

winpcap is installed... latest ver... so thats not it...

Nope, NmapNT will not detect Windows based RAS (Dialup) or Windows based LAN (I'm sure theres a condition to the LAN support, but generally, it don't work).

Ahh okay, so I guess I have to use an "external" pcmcia adapter card in order to run nmapNT eh?
