Winamp and zlib
Most likely a lot of you have heard about the zlib vulnerability. But did you know that, Winamp uses that compression, also? I never really gave it much thought, until, i noticed that a new version of Winamp was out. And one of the "New Features" was this:
You can get more information about the zlib vulnerability at NewsForge
upgraded unzip/decompress support to zlib 1.1.4, for big security fix

I knew Winamp used that compression 'cause I develop Winamp skins, and did a little background reading on it, however, it never occurred to me that my MP3 player could be a security risk!

Kool, what are some of your skins (names)? Where can I download em?
cause I develop Winamp skins
Right now I'm using 'FlyingCircle2000' - I reckon it looks the best, it's from winamp.com
EDIT: Sweeeet, just browsing thru winamp.com (cos of this thread), I found this one - http://www.winamp.com/skins/detail.j...ponentId=80306 - I reckon it look kool.

Well, I think my skins are on winamp.com - I did upload 'em, they're also available at my website... I'm working on a new (far better than my other 3) skin now.
The other 3 were just experiments with getting to know how Winamp worked its skins, now I've switched into perfectionist mode, so it'll be finished some time in the next few millennia.
