    Lightbulb SubSeven 2.2

I downloaded version 2.2 to figure out why
i keep getting attacked playing monopoly.
(See previous post for that story).
Anyway im wondering why norton 2002
allways protects me from that, but it did'nt
prevent the download or afterwards when
i right clicked the file and scanned it,still
    no norton warning?
should'nt it have detected the exe. susbseven
    2.2 even before its opened?
Did'nt post in "security leaks in norton"
because maybe its a "dud" trojan?

    Is v2.2 too new?
And have you done all your recent updates for the anti-virus programme?

Yes im up to date on the definitions.
But maybe its because its a remote
access trojan(rat) it doesnt recognize it?
I spent allot of bucks on that norton
    package too...Shuks

Have you download it from sub7 home page ( http://www.sub7files.org ) or another website?

I would assume that the trojan is not exposed until 'unzipped'(opened and installed), but I couldn't say for sure...
If such is the case, you'll never know until it's too late...

The kids downloaded a game once and it
detected a file within the files as soon as the
    download started?
Sorry to bug evreyone on easter weekend but

Ok, I recommend you to delete downloaded sub7, and download it from it's own site which I mentioned above.
The sub 7 which you have downloaded might be edited to prevent antivirus detection and it might not be the original sub7 ! so be carefull, they also could infected the client part of the sub7 which you have downloaded with another trojan! just delete it and download it from it's own website.
